Undergraduate University Profile Concordia's Long-Standing Tradition
Concordia University Chicago was founded in 1864 as a college for teachers. In 1913, the University relocated to River Forest, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where it occupies 40 tree-lined acres. Today, Concordia University Chicago is comprised of the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, and the College of Graduate and Innovative Programs.
These four colleges offer more than 60 areas of study. The educational programs a re open to all students without regard to age, sex, creed, color, national or ethnic origin, or handicap.
