approximately 6,000undergraduates

Honors College:The Honors College provides a
highly personalized and challenging college experience that also includes
a premier scholarship package that covers tuition, fees, housing, a
partial meal plan, and money for textbooks for a select group of
high-achieving freshman students.
University College:The University College serves all first-time students to the
university.Success Coaches are
provided to each student.University College targets first-time, full-time freshman student
who reside on campus.Students are
grouped with other students who share similar interests, and activities
are planned to enhance the campus experience, including, but not limited
to, lectures from experts and leadership and service learning
opportunities.
Regents:Regent's Scholars Program (RSP) provides outstanding
freshmen a four-year scholarship towards tuition and fees.The program allows students to pursue a
bachelor's degree in their chosen field while developing their awareness
of international issues and cultural contrasts.In addition, RSP provides student with leadership training
and experience that will allow them to have a positive impact upon the
lives of others on campus, and in their future profession.
Study abroad:18 programs, including study
abroad in Australia, China, England, Peru, Russia, and South Africa.
Internships:Real-world work opportunities
in nearby Dallas and surrounding communities.
Financial aid and scholarships:Over
$93,090,000 was offered in the form of scholarships, grants, long tern
educational loans, student employment and tuition waivers to Undergraduate
students in the 2009-2010 year to make tuition affordable.
Campuses: Our main campus location is in
Commerce, Texas with seven teaching centers throughout the Metroplex.
